Why I Became a National Hair Educator (And What It Actually Means)
The title “National Educator” appears on my bio, my website, and my marketing. But what does it actually mean — and why does it matter for clients and stylists who want to learn from me?
What a Brand Educator Actually Does
A national educator for a professional beauty brand is a licensed cosmetologist who has been selected by that brand to represent their products through education. This means teaching other stylists through in-person classes, demo events, and platform work at industry shows.
I hold National Educator credentials for three of the most respected names in professional hair: Marcia Keratin Treatments, Global Keratin, and Babe Hair Extensions.
How I Got Here
It didn’t happen overnight. It happened because of consistent excellence over years of work. Brand educators are selected — they don’t apply like a job posting. The brands see your work, your reputation, and the quality of your results, and they choose you.
What This Means for My Clients
When you sit in my chair, you’re not just getting a stylist. You’re getting someone who teaches other stylists how to do this correctly. The technical knowledge I bring to your appointment is the same knowledge I teach in professional education settings. The standard is higher.
What This Means for Other Stylists
If you’re a licensed stylist who wants to elevate your extension or keratin skills, reach out through my contact page. I teach and mentor stylists looking to grow their expertise and their business.
Education Is the Foundation
My business degrees from the University of Houston-Downtown gave me the business foundation. My beauty education gave me the technical credibility. Together, they created something I could build a national platform on. Never stop learning.
